Deb Hyde is a native of Michigan and resides in West Bloomfield. She has exhibited her work in juried art fairs in Georgia, Florida, Arizona, California and Illinoisas well as her home state. She has been represented in many state, national and international art and quilt exhibitions. She has received numerous awards including the "Michigan Great Artist Award (2012) and has had solo gallery and museum exhibitions in Michigan, and the Art Quilt Gallery in New York City (May 2013). Her work has been featured in "Strut" magazine, "Machine Quilting Unlimited" magazine (Sept./Oct, 2013) and "Austrailian Patchwork adn Quilting" magazine (Oct. 2013) Her work was the cover story in a special edition on portraiture in "Quilting Arts" magazine (April/May, 2014) Her most recent piece is currently in the national annual exhibition, "Form not Function", at the Carnegie Institute of Art and History in New Albany, Indiana.
